Understanding The Fundamentals Of Leadership!

 UNDERSTANDING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF LEADERSHIP. 
 I choose this as my topic because, a lot of people have a hard time realizing that in order to become a LEADER, they need to learn to FOLLOW those who have come before them, laid the foundation and experienced the things they are experiencing now.

Often times we as individuals feel that because we are in a sudden position of power, we know everything their is to know and we don't have to take direction from anyone. But that's not true. Their is always someone who have walked miles in your shoes, who can give insight and advice about whatever strategy you should apply to enhance your level of success. 

Reason being? A lot of times those who don't have their lives on the right track will lead you down the wrong path. And you will find yourself in situations beyond your control that you can't get out of. 

This doesn't just apply to success in a business, but it also applies to helping enhance your success in your everyday life. Now this is not to say that you should follow in someone else's footsteps because in my opinion and from my own personal life experience, you have to learn to follow your own footsteps   and make your own footprints in the sand. 

   But for those who lead you down the right path, you should always take advice from them and apply everything they tell you to your everyday life. Strong Leaders are the ones who have experienced obstacles, setbacks, and a life time of disappointments. And in-spite of everything they have had to face, they didn't give up! They CHALLENGED themselves to get better, faced their fears and turned their TRAGEDY into a true SUCCESS story! 

Those who have struggled to get ABOVE & BEYOND where you are in this very moment, are the one's who Understand The Fundamentals Of Leadership! We should always be open to what other's have to teach us because we can pass it on to those who will one day look to us for LEADERSHIP. If you don't know anything, if you've never listened to anyone, how will you ever learn anything? how can you teach? Not a single person in this world, came here already knowing what they needed to know to make it in life. We all come in this world to be taught by the greats. 

Their is nothing wrong with having a big EGO. But sometimes, we need to put our ego's aside, expand our minds and listen to the greats who were here before us. We need to know what it's going to take to get us where we are trying to go and Beyond. Others are following everything that we are doing, they learn to lead by our examples. 

So with this in mind, we should try our best to be open to hearing what others are presenting to us. It's only going to create a better foundation for us and help us Understand The Fundamentals Of Leadership so that we can pass it on to the next generation!
