The Change Of SOCIAL MEDIA... The Good, The Bad & The Business Side. How to Shift your Focus.

WOW!!! Social Media has come along and changed the world of technology like never before. Being an 80's baby, and growing up as a teenager in the 90's. I'm proud to be apart of the Internet and Social Media Boom!

I got my first computer at the age of 17. So much time has past since then I'm 32 now and I'm still fascinated with computers, the internet and everything Social Media. Although, the internet in most cases are used for disgusting reasons, and to do harm to others who are innocent.

It can also be used for the greater good! Some awesome things have taken place over the internet since the beginning of the New Millennium. Needless to say that this is a Billion Dollar Industry and their is so much money to be made.

So the big questions is... How do you shift your focus from wasting time on Social Media, taking pictures uploading them to Instagram and Facebook, tweeting random tweets on Twitter. To actually leveraging the power of the Social Media to make money and grow your business?

Did you know:Twitter is much more than just random Tweets and Hashtags! Twitter can be an incredibly effective addition to your current online marketing and a strategic way to amplify and unleash your personal brand to the online world. Instead of following family members, friends and random people you don't know or who could care less about your content and whatever it is your selling or promoting.

Choose to follow other Entrepreneurs, Bloggers, and Social Media Enthusiast. Others in your field who understand the passion in what you're doing. Twitter is a unique sharing platform, this social network not only has the ability to connect your business to potential customers, but it can also bring important insight and necessary data right to your doorstep.

Twitter can be used to listen, monitor and research what is happening in and around your personal brand, your business now becomes able to adjust to the ever changing needs to the market you are targeting.

Define Your Mission and Your Vision: Before you start your Twitter marketing, determine what your mission and your visions are for this social network.

Why Every Business Should Use Facebook:
SOCIAL MEDIA - Why Every Business Should Use Facebook #Infographic.
First off, lets be clear about the forever changing world of Facebook. With weekly updates and content changes, I have noticed a huge difference in the Facebook world since becoming a member back in 2009. You've got the good, the bad and the ugly on every social media site but Facebook takes the cake, literally.
I would advise anyone against Joining Facebook unless your about to Promote Your Business.

Beware, Facebook's News Feed is full of content that's bound to drive you away. Lucky for us, we can manage what content we want to view. Personally and this is just my opinion, if Facebook ever decides to change this. My Facebook profile will be DEACTIVATED.
*********************************************
Facebook just makes sense for every business, but on the personal side... I feel that Facebook is overrated. I'm so over Facebook and I'm sick and tired of seeing all the EXPLICIT CONTENT. For the life of me, I can't understand why parents let their children under 18 join the site. I'm a mother of 5 and I get sick from the post's and content that I see. I wouldn't dare to let my daughters or sons join this site unless they the appropriate age.

 Google+

Google+ isn't only a social network. If you're a writer, joining Google+ is either going to be very good for your career, or you'll risk becoming relatively invisible online. If you'd like to land solidly in the former camp of writers, the question becomes one of how you will use Google+ to further your goals.

Link Google+ to your blog:
The first step to getting results from Google+ is connecting your profile with your blogs home page. Every company should have a blog. This is the gateway step to claiming your content in the eyes of Google.
It will also go far in generating incredible results, including displaying your photo next to your blog post links and a wikipedia style profile listing in Google search results whenever anyone searches for your name.
USE TAGS TO REACH OUT TO PEOPLE AND BRANDS DIRECTLY: Like Facebook, Google+ offers us the ability to tag people and brands in our posts. This is a great way to connect with people and draw their attention to our latest resources, especially since this digital culture we live in is a very noisy one.
Give yourself time to master these tactics!

7. Tell YOUR story YOUR way! Personally, I LOVE Pinterest! The fact that this website allows you to create your very own boards and link your boards to your website is so cool. For beginners, it can be complicated at first but, if you take time out to create your boards you will see a section with a pencil. That's where you EDIT your content. And where it say's (Add A Source) That's where you add your very own web address. Don't forget the add the http://
